What will you miss most about Marymount?

The fact that it is like my second family, it’s my home away from home. I will also miss all the amazing relationships that I have built with the whole community whether it be teachers, friends, house parents, Señor Carlos or even the kitchen staff. The whole community supports each other very well.

What is your funniest/favourite memory from Marymount?

My funniest memory is my first senior prank day when teachers dressed up as scuba divers for a water fight. My favourite memory has to be the first week of senior year; it was one of the most memorable experiences with a movie night to start the year off.

What is your favourite Marymount tradition?

Senior prank day. Despite the circumstances, the Class of 2020 upheld the tradition very well.

Where is your favourite place on campus?

The senior space in the art room. As an IB Art student, it is where I spent most of my time. The IB DP Lounge, or even the lawn with an amazing view of the sunset.

Which university do you plan to attend after leaving Marymount?

Nottingham Trent University.

What are you most looking forward to about university?

Meeting new people and the day to day lifestyle. It is very different to being in boarding.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully working with a big business firms or perhaps my own firm. Or travelling.

What advice do you have for younger students as they move forward in their Marymount experience?

To have fun and trust yourself and the people around you, as we are all sisters and Marymount is like one big family.

Who has been an influential figure in your life at Marymount?

Mr Robertson, among others, has been a very influential figure whilst at Marymount. As an IB art teacher and advisor, I have learnt so much from him not only about art, but also on how I need to have faith in myself to achieve my goals.

Anything else you’d like to add?

Thank you to everyone who has made these past four years at Marymount memorable. I love you all and wish you the best.
