BTS celebrate their newly GRAMMY nominated artist status

Fans and artists are ecstatic about the GRAMMY nomination, showing their excitement through posts on Twitter.

On the 24th November at 5PM GMT, the 2021 GRAMMY nominees were announced over livestream at the GRAMMY official site. Among all of the nominees, Korean boyband BTS received their first ever GRAMMY nomination. With their Billboard Hot100 charting song Dynamite, they were nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Following the announcement, the group posted a video on Twitter of their live reaction to the nomination, captioned “Ohmmmmmmyyyyyyyyggghghhhhhhhgggggggggdhdhsjsixudbslsogbdsisgshdbxidjdbdidhdifjfiri #GRAMMYs #BTS”

Following, BTS’ singer V (Kim Taehyung) posts “I’m Kim Taehyung of Grammy nominated BTS😎”

They then posted another tweet thanking the Recording Academy for “this great honour”; as usual, they also made special reference to the ARMY that, with them, walked the road to this achievement.

[TRANS] Thank you to everyone who listened to our music and shared their feelings with us amid these difficult times. More than anything else, you, ARMYs, are the ones who made this miracle of becoming Grammy-nominated artists possible. Thank you always, and we love you.
